Suppose, we have a 50 amp battery that is half depleted, so it has 25 amps missing. One can divide 25 by two and will get 12.5. As a result, the battery will take 12.5 hours to get fully charged

By charging the battery faster, one can cause serious damage to it by buckling the battery plates and making the battery inoperable while damaging the areas of the car as well.
